Tweaaa Is Out. What Is Next #Ghana

On Wednesday, I woke up and started my usual online search and I came across this news article. "The tweaa DCE is sacked." I follow the story well enough to see it credibility. But all what my search landed on was that it was true. For me he been dismissed does not concern me, however he is not the first to be sacked under this NDC regime. What really matters me is what he left behind. The "tweaaa" adage.

Over these these past years, phrases, statement, sayings and other notes have made the headlines in the country; be it political, entertainment or sports these short words become the talk of the media. The social media, the online media and all the electronic medias you can talk about. Recently, was the boys abre tag from the hiplife artiste Guru song title "amen", this became an instant hit. People find different way of framing and forming different word phrases from it. Following closely was the "tonga" word from Joey b hit song -- tonga -- featuring Sarkodie. This word too got all the needed attention making the song more popular -- for me. Well for me I think is one of the unique feature of Ghanaian's creativity, yet the circumstances sounding all these words and phrases rise arguments and controversies.

But the reigning; tweaaa or atweaaaa or any way you say your own. This word with it accompanying clause: "are u my co-equal" has gain enough popularity to an extent of the foreign media. All most all the social media in the country has it trending #atweaaa. The president himself was not left out of the funny when he experienced it at recent State of the Nation Address.

So my question is; the person who made popular -- the  Ahafo Ano South DCE -- Gabriel Barima is now out, what is the fate of  the atweaa word -- are you my co-equal. Is it going to go with him or is going to stay for yet another phrase or a word. As it come year by year or season by season, so whose turn is it or what new word do you expect or suspect. The rest is for you to say...
